Fire Cider

 

Welcome to our first fall medicine making workshop with a special focus on

Fire Cider.

 

In this class we will begin with explaining what fire cider is, its history, its many ingredients and their medicinal benefits as well as its many possible variations. We will go over what plants you can gather during spring and summer to dry to add to your fire cider as well as the fall roots to gather and what fresh ingredients you can buy from the store.  We will learn how to process the ingredients and special techniques that are very important for procurement. ​

 

The Second half of this class will be focused on creating your very own personal fire cider infusion with intentions. You will be able to choose from a few different recipes or make your own by choosing from over 20 different ingredients available. We will learn some tricks to the trade of infusing vinegars with fresh vs dry or both ingredients. During our break we will enjoy homemade fire cider shots and treats made by yours truly.

 

Each person will get to take home a pint mason jar of Fire Cider made from organic raw ACV, ethically gathered and organic ingredients. A class outline with benefits, history and a few additional fire cider recipes will be handed out at the beginning of the class.
