Sacred Bathing with Western Red Cedar 

Welcome to our special winter offering to experience the practice of Sacred Bathing with Western Red Cedar. Relax, rejuvenate and release by immersing yourself with evergreen medicine and a guided sacred foot bath practice. Come begin a relationship with cedar, make medicine and be pampered all in one day.

Together we settle in and get to know each other and Cedar through some fun interactive activities.  We begin learning different perspectives of plant relationships through discussion, hands on observation, touching, smelling, test tasting and journaling about Cedar. We will explore the ways we are connected to plants through our biochemical responses as well as by tapping into our intuition and imagination. We then move into learning the modality of sacred bathing:

an intentional bathing ritual for physical and energetic healing.  ​

The Second half of this class we will create intentional cedar sacred bathing salts for our foot soaks and some extra to take home. The last 45 minutes I will help guide you through a sacred bathing foot soak in a warm, comfortable shared space.

Each person will get a sacred bathing kit to use in our workshop as well as take home which includes sacred bathing salts to use in their sacred bathing foot soak, cedar smoke medicine bundle, a crystal or gem and a cedar beeswax candle. You will also be sent a complete class outline with simple Cedar medicine making recipes as well as sacred bathing salt recipes.
